Employment Contracts – Employee Entitlements
Any employee not matter if you are a director, manager, employee or junior employee while working with any company has the right to know how much they will be paid, in what format they will be paid and how often they will be paid. The employee, even if paid electronically, is also entitled to a detailed payslip which must contain the amount of wages they receive before deductions, the details of any deductions and the net amount of wages.
Employers are prevented from making any unauthorised deductions from the pay as this usually requires the express written agreement of the employee.
Other things to consider whilst drawing up a employment contract are; Bonuses and incentives | Holiday Pay Entitlement | Pension Entitlement | Working Time Regulations | Sickness Entitlement | Sickness Pay | Contractual Stipulations | Notice Period | Compulsory Overtime | Ending a Contract.
